Polenta slices

  1. Add the milk, cream, nutmeg and salt to a saucepan, place on the hob and bring to the boil at the highest hob setting. 
  2. Stir in the polenta and simmer for 2 minutes. Keep stirring. 
  3. Add the parmesan and stir. Spread the mixture about 2 cm thick on a baking tray or in a flat oven dish and allow to cool.
  4. To serve, cut the polenta into pieces. Reheat in the steam oven with the regeneration function or sear briefly in a pan. Wash the tomatoes and cut into pieces. Dish up the polenta pieces on plates and garnish with tomato pieces and basil.

250 ml milk

250 ml cream

1/2 tsp salt

1 pinch nutmeg. grated

30 g parmesan

2 tomatoes

A few basil leaves
